Manual QA Engineer

Protelion is a cyber-security company that develops data encryption solutions for our clients. We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality of our software products.

We are developing a system for managing secure local networks. Our team consists of highly skilled specialists working in the field of information security and network technologies. Our goal is to provide our clients with a solution that enables them to efficiently manage secure networks, ensuring the security and confidentiality of transmitted information.

We use advanced technologies to create the system, including encryption algorithms, authentication and authorization systems, and access control mechanisms. We pay close attention to testing and debugging our product to ensure a high degree of reliability and system resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure software quality.
• Identify and report defects and issues on time.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications are met.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve software quality.
• Design and implement testing solutions.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in project planning and estimation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Basic knowledge of Unix systems and willingness to further learn
• Unix administration skills
• Windows administration skills
• Network administration skills
• Familiarity with network operating systems and TCP/IP protocols (with practical experience)
• Understanding of general principles of network information security
• Experience in testing, understanding of types and methodologies of testing (theory)
• Experience as a test designer and ability to work with requirements and documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, etc.)
• Willingness to learn testing automation methodologies and tools
